Yes, that's right. It's been a long time coming. And I know the title won't make sense to most people being that this is my very first giveaway, but that's okay...it shouldn't because you aren't a bunch of nerds. I first mentioned the apparent necessity of having a giveaway a couple months ago, but due to a lack of money to throw away disposable income, I have been unable to spend a dime on you fine readers. And to be honest, that part hasn't changed. But the good news is that I now have something worthwhile to give you that doesn't cost me anything!

And let's be clear up front...I'm bucking the running blog giveaway norm here. This prize has absolutely nothing to do with running. But it does have relevance to all of you who own your own computer (which I have to assume is close to 100%). So here go...RunnuRMark's first giveaway is....

A full licensed copy (not upgrade) of Windows 7 Ultimate!


Yes, it's a nerd-centric giveaway for sure, but it's a good one. If you haven't heard the word, this OS is nice. Really nice. I like it a lot. So if you're running Vista on your PC (or XP with a lot of horsepower), this is the way to go. Win7 is setting sales records out the wazzou and this disc retails at around $300 ($200 for the upgrade)...well, that is if this particular copy was for resale. Now, my multiple affiliations with Microsoft force me to state that I do not condone selling this copy of Windows since it is not for resale. Buuuuut if the winner was not interested in putting it on their computer, I'm not going to stop them from giving it to someone else...with the hope that they would get a nice Christmas present in return...worth, say, 190-ish bucks...which happens to be a pretty fair price for a copy of Windows 7 Ultimate. But it's good stuff and I know you'll want to use it anyway.
